Tunisia Holiday Offers

Hop on a plane and in just 3 hours you can be amidst swaying palm trees, riding a camel on one of the stretches of 800 miles of sandy beach or choosing from the abundance of international restaurants and nightclubs. The hotels here are of an extremely high standard. Most of them have the added advantage of a kids club, so for the mums and dads a welcome break is on the cards, but if relaxation and amazing facilities are more up your street then look no further.

Hotel facilites on offer range from the traditional Turkish bath to great sports facilities and most of the hotels have private beaches, but you may find it hard to drag yourself away from one of the creatively designed poolside areas on offer. The only time to, maybe, avoid a visit here is in Ramadan when the sale of alcohol can be limited. Other than that it is well worth a visit anytime between April and October when temperatures reach high into the 100’s.

If you like a bargain then take a trip the local bazaar and haggle for some of the local pottery or even a traditional Berber carpet. Tunisia really has a lot more to offer than most of us can imagine. Keith Floyd has visited here while filming his culinary delights and if you take advantage of the traditional spa treatments look out for stars such as Sting, you may end up sharing a sauna with him. If you fancy a bit of something a little different it’s really worth a try.
