back to topEvery Childs dream must be to visit Florida to see Mickey Mouse in the flesh. Even for the grown-ups there is more than enough to keep them occupied.
A visit to the shopping malls is not to be missed, not only for the shopping but for a bit of star spotting too. Watch out for famous faces such as Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan who are often seen snapping up those designer labels. There are countless bargains to be had and with so many shops to visit you can really shop until you drop. If all that shopping hasn’t tired you out why not hit the theme parks. Again plan your holiday well or you will definitely find you will run out of time even with a two-week visit. The best idea is to plan everything you wish to visit before you leave home and stick to it. That way you will fit in everything on your agenda, and you never know - you might even get a day lazing by the pool. For eating out again you will be spoilt for choice with every kind of food imaginable on offer at fantastic prices, the portions are pretty amazing too.
Eating Out
Where do you start, everything you could ever imagine to eat is on offer in America, whether it be health food and freshly squeezed juice, pizza, giant hamburgers or spicey caribbean style foods and all at amazing prices. Finish it off in style with American Key Lime pie. both refreshing and delicious.
Places to Visit
You are more than spoilt for choice, but the main attraction here has to be Walt Disney Land where the Mickey and Minnie mouse will welcome you to 47 miles of entertainment, street parties and water parks to mention a few of the attractions. Visit the Everglades, swamps and mangroves which are a sanctury for animals and reptiles such dolphins, manatees and obvioulsy alligators. You can see them really upclose on a hydrofoil or hire a canoe, be carefull not to fall in.
