With a hint of traditional Spain, dramatic scenery and one of the largest marinas in the med, Costa Almeria is still not as commercialised as other parts of the Spanish coastline. There is still plenty to see and do here though, from dolphin spotting to deep-sea fishing. If this sounds all too energetic for you there is always one of the untouched sandy coves to stretch out on, keeping your eyes open for one of many stars like Bruce Willis, Sting, and the Arabian Royal Family, who have been seen relaxing around this resort.

Eating Out

As you are in Spain there is no surprise that tapas bars are in abundance, you can stroll along from bar to bar snacking on the delightful array of tapas before finally opting for your favourite restaurant. Maybe you will choose to go al-fresco and dine under the stars whilst people watching and sampling the local brandy or a cool glass of 'cava' wine.

Places to Visit

One of the most popular excursions is Rock The kasbah a fantastic combination of visiting the mystical caves of Nerja, watch matadores at work in the famous Mijas bullring then onto a night of luxury in a four star hotel in Marbella topped off with a full day tour of Gibralter, wow that's what you call taking in the sites.
